Andermatt Swiss Alps AG, with registered office in Andermatt, plans, builds, and develops the year-round destination of Andermatt. In 2009 Andermatt Reuss came into being, with apartment buildings, hotels, and chalets. Andermatt Swiss Alps also owns Andermatt-Sedrun Sport AG with its cableways, the catering brand Mountain Food, and the Swiss Snowsports School Andermatt, as well as an 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course and the Andermatt Concert Hall. With The Chedi Andermatt and the Radisson Blu Reussen hotels, the sports infrastructure, the wide range of events on offer, and the properties, Andermatt Swiss Alps pursues the goal of “prime Alpine destination”. In doing so, it is committed to an intact environment and a sustainable future that will enable coming generations to have an extraordinary home. During high season, Andermatt Swiss Alps AG has more than 900 employees working at the locations in Altdorf, Andermatt and Sedrun.

About 500 employees in the winter and 100 employees in the summer offer guests an unforgettable experience on the mountain. In both winter and summer, the cableways transport a total of roughly 500,000 guests. Under the label Mountain Food, we operate 10 catering establishments on the mountain, of which three are also open in the summer. With about 90 ski instructors, the Swiss Snowsports School looks after guests from near and far.

As a result of the year-round focus, this business division offers guest experiences and services in and around Andermatt Reuss. Activities and events take place on a regular basis in Piazza Gottardo and in the Concert Hall. The Customer Services area provides services for condominium unit owners, as well as guests. The Catering unit operates three catering establishments that are open year-round, as well as a bakery. Operations covers the segments Logistics & General Services, Property Management, and Retail & Outlets. The 18-hole championship golf course is open from May to October.
This business division is responsible for property development for the entire group of companies. With about 15 employees, the Development unit is responsible for construction planning/development, construction project management, and customer service for construction projects. In the coming years, nearly 30 apartment buildings, four hotels, and the associated infrastructure are scheduled to be completed. Sales & Marketing markets and sells condominium units and hotel residences to national and international buyers.
The Chedi Andermatt – the five-star deluxe hotel is one of the world’s leading hotels. It features 123 elegant rooms and suites, two excellent restaurants and a bar, a modern health club, and a unique wellness area. In all, about 300 employees are in charge of ensuring the well-being of guests.
Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen, Andermatt – the elegant hotel with 244 rooms and suites opened in late 2018 and is the perfect travel destination for outdoor fans in both summer and winter. In addition to the range of sports offerings, the concert and convention hall offers space for seminars and entertainment. The guest experience is provided by a motivated team of some 70 employees.
Alpine Apartments Andermatt – a small team attends to customer service and the letting and operation of 80 holiday apartments in Andermatt Reuss.

Shared Services provides internal services and processes for the entire group of companies. Starting in late 2020, competence centres with about 50 employees will attend to four areas that are spread across the entire group. Finance & Services covers the areas of finances, legal, and internal services. Human Resources offers HR services for managers and employees. Corporate Communications is responsible for internal, external, and digital communication and media work. The Digital Innovation & IT area is responsible for technological development and operational ICT support.
