The play
The play is set in the 16th century and depicts iron-ore mining and the challenges of everyday life back then. The smelter, which is still found today at the valley station of the Golzern gondola in Bristen, forms the basis for an impressive open-air setting. The local directors Cornelia Jauch and Rosmarie Epp will be staging the play with the valuable assistance of the well-known actor, narrator, and director Walter Sigi Arnold.

Bristen is about a 30-minute drive from Andermatt.
