The trail-running event on the Tgom is being held for a second time. The inaugural race in July 2020 drew more than 500 runners. The latest edition will feature course improvements and modifications, promising an athletic challenge as well as fun.
10 July 2021
Over 38.1 kilometres, runners will battle a change in elevation of 2,908 metres. Starting in Sedrun, at the Porta Alpina high above the Gotthard Tunnel, the course follows narrow paths to Lake Toma, the source of the Rhine – and no less spectacularly, returning over Piz Pazzola through the high-alpine landscape of the Surselva. An unforgettable course that runners will find addictive.
A shorter trail is available as well. It also provides a full panorama over 16.2 kilometres, featuring a change in elevation of 1,225 metres up the back of the Tgom with its unforgettable views.
You can register for the Rheinquelle Trail Run directly on the event website. There you’ll also find further information about the race.
