Your golf course in Andermatt – double-green

Teeing off at the Andermatt Swiss Alps Golf Course is greener than elsewhere – in two ways: At our course, the focus is on sustainability – from the first to the last shot. And all of this against a mystical mountain backdrop in deep green reminiscent of Scotland. But in contrast to the harsh Scottish weather, Andermatt will welcome you with 1,890 hours of sunshine per year, making it one of the top 10 sunniest locations in Switzerland.
A vibrant golf course for you and for nature
Your unmatched golf experience on the 18-hole course is just as important to us as the life of the flora and fauna here in Andermatt. As a result, in addition to golfing, you can marvel at the 52 water elements and ponds on the Andermatt Swiss Alps Golf Course, as well as goats as landscapers and more than 100 species of birds and dragonflies. We intentionally avoid using fertilisers and pesticides near the water elements. Everything naturally green and beautiful.

Tee off in a climate-neutral manner
At 1,444 metres above sea level, we at Andermatt Swiss Alps are also very committed to climate protection. We seek to operate our entire destination in a largely climate-neutral manner. For instance, we also heat our clubhouse in a CO2-neutral manner using district heating supplied by the Göschenen heating plant.

Switzerland's best golf course
Our Andermatt Swiss Alps Golf Course has been named Switzerland's best golf course for the fourth time now. The four World Golf Awards in our inviting clubhouse are proof of this. Hanging alongside them is the certification by the Golf Environmental Organization (GEO) confirming that our golf course meets all environmental and social criteria.
