Or if you would rather be on foot, the winter hiking trails and snowshoe trails are enticing places to explore.

Those who fancy cosiness can opt for a romantic ride through the snow-covered countryside on a horse-drawn sleigh – enjoying the serenity and beauty of Andermatt whilst nestled into a thick woollen blanket.

Andermatt in bad weather

Or take a daytrip to Ticino in southern Switzerland – it’s only a short drive away – and enjoy a real espresso.

Evenings in Andermatt

At the end of your day in the snow you can enjoy a tasty fondue or have a warm soak in the hot tub. And if you feel like listening to music, evenings in Andermatt offer quite an experience.
