Macaroni and cheese from industrial-sized packages, frozen six-packs of tiramisu, heat-and-serve bread: In many places, these are the basic ingredients of mountain catering. But because the Mountain Food catering operations at the Andermatt-Sedrun SkiArena strive not only to serve delicious food but also to meet their own commitment to sustainability, as many items as possible are produced fresh in Andermatt. Under the motto “KM Zero” – no delivery distances – fresh pasta and desserts are made there daily for their own needs, as well as fresh bread for the entire valley.
