On Thursday evening, 23 May 2024, the new Sport Studio in Andermatt Reuss was officially opened in the presence of representatives from the municipal, regional and cantonal councils, the Ursern Corporation, partners and the management. From 29 May, Andermatt Swiss Alps will be offering a new indoor sports facility. On the same floor as the Andermatt Reuss car park, there is a squash hall, table tennis, challenging bouldering walls and a training studio for yoga, Pilates and other indoor activities.

The new sports infrastructure in Andermatt Reuss is well signposted and accessible via the underground car park. A squash hall and table tennis are available for a quick workout. Rackets and balls are available free of charge on site. If you want to train on the rocks before the excursion or in bad weather, you can do so on the bouldering wall. A selection of bouldering shoes is also available free of charge. On the upper floor is a multifunctional hall, which can be booked by the hour or day for yoga, Pilates or similar indoor activities. The room is equipped with mats, blocks, belts, Thera bands, Pilates balls and blankets. There are also changing rooms, showers and toilets. Passive athletes can sit in the spectator stands and refreshments and snacks can be purchased at the Honesty Bar. All indoor offers can be booked via the Playtomic app.

Under the open sky

The sports facilities in Andermatt Mitte offer a welcome alternative to golf, hiking or biking when the weather is fine. There are two paddle tennis courts, a beach volleyball court, a bouldering rock and a trampoline. The paddle tennis courts can be booked via Playtomic. Rackets and balls are available free of charge on site.

Before you set off on a challenging trail on your mountain bike, you need to improve your skills and technique on the bike trail. Waves, steep bends and challenging terrain help to perfect your skills on two wheels. Next to these sports facilities is a barbecue area for a cosy get-together afterwards.

In a nutshell

The Sport Studio will be open from 29 May 2024. An opening discount of 20 per cent applies until the end of June. Changing rooms, showers and toilets are on site. The entire sports studio is barrier-free. All offers (indoor and outdoor) can be booked via the Playtomic app and sports equipment is included.
